Florida man who was trying to get a loan modification of Bank of America worried he might lose his house for 80 percent of errors.
Tom Mudie, 56, set up a three-month Trial period which will allow him to get a loan modification to his home in Largo, Fla. But slips on a phone payment system and he intentionally underpaid one trial payment by 80 sen, put the House in danger of being closed.
“It is believed that with a simple error 80 cents You could lose your home,” he said. “It was kind of ruined my Christmas. It’s been stressed out that I could come home and find a padlock on a door. “
Mudie lost his job as Manager of manpower to downsizing in 2010. Unemployed for nine months, he cannot afford his payment in the House he had owned since 1986 and facing foreclosure.
Before it was accepted into the permanent loan modification program, Mudie was informed by the Bank of America that he had to make three monthly payments on time during the trial period.
